I found these watermelon チロル at a convenience store the other day. I bought four because they were cute but I don't think I'll be buying them again.... I love watermelon and I love chocolate, but there is no need to combine them.

UCR at JIU
Twenty four students and two faculty members from the University of California, Riverside visited Togane yesterday. They are going to spend four weeks on the Kioicho campus, but their welcome party was held here in Togane. It was an intense day for them as we started with a welcome reception followed by tea ceremony, "furoshiki" workshop, a visit to our Mizuta Art Museum and 90-minutes of kendo practice. I hope it was a great day for everyone.

Raspberries
Fresh--really fresh--raspberries in class. We are lucky to have a classmate this year that grows his own vegetables and berries and shares them with us!
Summer School: Intensive Japanese
Our Summer Program--Intensive Japanese--started in May and ends this coming Friday. We have students from four different American universities this year. Later this month we're having a special program for UCRiverside students and then from July 7 to July 28 we'll be hosting the Asia Summer Program.
Mini Mini Orchid
I found mini mini orchid in Chiba the other day. It is SO cute and SO small. This is not a good photo and I'll try again when I get home tonight.
