I went to Keiai Gakuen in Inage today to meet the Principal and Vice-Principal and talk about the program in which six JIU students took part in the other day. One of my former students is now teaching there and he organized this "cultural exchange activity." Six of our international students of six different nationalities interacted with the high school students who will be going to England for a year later this year. I'm sure it was a good opportunity for both parties as our students had an opportunity to meet high school students and actually visit the facilities, and the high school students had the opportunity to meet people from Spain, France, Hungary, the US, China and Norway. The more encounters there are the more opportunities people have to open up their minds and hearts.
