Certificate Ceremony

A certificate ceremony was held from 2:30 to 3:30 today--the final activity of the program. 

There was a bit of karaoke singing, too.

All JIU students gave presentations from 9:30 to 12:00 today. The presentations were about all the provinces in Canada and they all did a good job!

King Edward on Friday

We had a very nice visit to King Edward School on Friday.
On a yellow bus for the first time.

Royal Aberta Museum

  • We visited the Royal Alberta Museum after classes on Thursday. This big mammoth is by the entrance. There was a special exhibition on the Vikings that day.

It was finally a sunny and warm day (20 degrees in the afternoon).

University of Alberta, Canada

We arrived in Edmonton on Thursday via Vancouver. The flights were on time and not so long (compared to my two previous flights from Brazil to Narita in the end of August). All students met with their homestay families upon arrival and classes and activities started on Friday.
